This is MY chair! This work is a celebration of happy childhood memories. For my first birthday my parents gave me a red fluffy armchair. Sitting on that chair made me feel very special, hence I kept it for many years. I still have an old photograph of my first chair, which allows me to bring its memory alive again by rebuilding it to scale according to the size of my body then and today. With this piece I invite the viewer to engage with it, play, relive that sense of childhood again. Below This is MY chair at ACT ART 05, 2007.
